i'm leaving for basic training on monday at fort jackson South carolina so this is my last saturday night, got some plans but nothing too crazy, i have to be at church in the morning and all that so i can have a little bit of fun but not too much.
i'm in the army reserves, ammunitions specialist 89b and am going to redstone armory for AIT right after basic.
any advice?

My advice is to blend in and not get noticed by the drill seargant. Keep your mouth shut and do what you are told and you will be fine. The two months will go by quick. Good luck to you man.

Good on you, take care and good luck in Basic. Train hard, and come help us take care of business.

If you are of age, go to a strip club and look at some butt floss. It always makes me happy.

I went to Ft Jackson for basic too. Try not to get noticed, remember it's just a big game. Try to have fun too, you get to do some cool shit after red phase ends. Oh yeah, you're going to want to kill yourself from boredom the first few days. You go to reception before you actually go to basic. This is basically in-processing and these days will be the most boring of your life. Just be ready for it. Good luck.

Tell me about it, I stayed in reception *medical hold* for f***ing 3 months with the GAME OVER Alpha Company before I went down range:cuss: in Ft Benning.

Moving furniture is not fun.

Thank you for your service, and good luck. I almost wish I was young enough to do another round in the service................almost.

Basic is a cake walk nowadays. My little bro is in basic right now and I cannot believe some of the shit they can do compared to eleven years ago when I went through.
