KONI Yellows on 2011+ GT500 question

'Enormous' and I are trying to figure out something. I ordered Koni yellow sport adj shocks and struts that are currently on sale at AM for my '11 SVTPP. I caught something after the fact that the struts say- 2005-2010 "All" Mustangs. I've browsed some other forums trying to find out the answer if I can use these struts or do I have to get the 2011-14 "All". I know the v6 and GT require the GT500 strut mounts but can I use the 05-10 struts? It's funny- the Ford Racing adj set says 2005-2014 GT and GT500...so what the heck is different? I'm trying to avoid the hassle of sending them back if I can use them. Would I need a diff mount like an 07-10 GT500 mount or Steeda HD mount? I've seen some answers around the ballpark but not the exact answer I'm looking for. My friend looked up the part number that I can call AM tomorrow to see what it says but until then, I was hoping someone on here has gone through this already and can help me out. Thanks!

I run Yellows/Sports on my 2011. Get the 2005-10 version...they have a larger size post that fits the GT500 mounts.

Strut mounts are different on the 11+ GT and V-6, but that strut mount is not the one that used on the 11+ GT500. You have the correct struts to go with your mounts.

Thanks for the help, guys. I wish they would make it alot easier and mention that they do fit the 11+ GT500 but not the V6 and GT. The "specialist" at AM told me um....no they won't fit because the description says 05-10 on their site. I'm glad I asked around because I was ready to go through the hassle of returing them and getting the Ford Racing adj set instead.

There is another Koni yellow 11-14 strut for the GT500...so what is the difference if they both work?

They only work with the right strut mounts. You can use the 11+ GT and V-6 struts, but you have to change the strut mount used in those models.

Yes I understand that. So...with my 2011 stock GT500 mounts, I am good with the 05-10 Koni yellows correct? Haha just want to make absolutely sure. AM gave me a bit of runaround so it confused me. They are in literally in transit being shipped to me!

I had STR.T with stock mounts and Sports with CC plates. Both were the order style struts (5-10) since they fit 11+ GT500s. Not sure why AM doesn't call this out on their site.
