I have a 97 cobra.
I started a built short block, was a cast iron. Solt the stock +100,000 mile stock block.
Any way I ened up getting a 2004 Mach Alm WAP block. Low miles, and built that. Are the knock sensors from the 03/04 machs plug and play on the 97 clips?
Or shoule I turn down the stock 97 sensors and re thread them, as I work in a machine shop so this is no problem. I would rather just pick up used sensors and plug them in.

What do you guys know.
I know, no one likes the WAP blocks for some reasone but it is what it is at this point.

When i did my aluminator shortblock, we had to use 99+ knock sensors but i think they are plug and play.

Don't quote me though, a shop did my build and I only know that there was an issue with the fitment of the sensors.
