Where did you get that bone-stag handled Camilus? Looks old.

My dad bought the original knife from a guy that bought a surplus of the USN's from an Army surplus store. My dad pulled the handle and added the antler.

Well the forging process makes the edge soft and the core hard this is why a samurai is the best sword.

This will help to explain why.

^^ I see, It was just for the picture. I wish I had a good Samurai sword. I paid like $20 at a gunshow for that one. I just bought it because I thought the handle kind of looked like the one from Highlander.

I stright up love my Benchmade Rant DPT.(pictured at top)

Its handle, and overall size of the knife are perfect. It look great, and being made of D2 its blade is extremely tough, and durable so it will hold its edge. BTW it comes extremely(and I mean extremely) sharp from the factory. The only bad thing about it is being D2 when it does come time to sharping it, it probably won't sharpen very easy at all. Lucky Benchmade will sharpen it for you for free if you pay to ship it to them. Also while D2 is extremely hard, tough, and durable it probably isn't the best material to use to chop or beat on stuff with as it's more brittle than other high carbon metal commonly used for knives such as 1095.

Here are some of mine, these are the only ones I have pics of. But I have some of the same ones others posted.

This is a Lakota Phoenix

WWII Nazi fireman's dagger all original war trophy was given to me by the veteran that brought it home.

Not knives but they fit into this thread.

This is also a war trophy that came from a family member who sent it home during the war. WW2 German K98 Mauser Bayonet all matching. This was hidden away until it was given to me about 15 years ago.

This is a Civil War cavalry sword made in 1864 by Ames not the best shape but it was a gift. Plus it has a lot of meaning coming from the person that gave it to me.

I Love knives. I have a bunch of them, but these are my favorites. The folders are Burke Knives and the big one is a reproduction First Blood knife by Ray Matton.

My wife collects knives. I'll have to dig them out and take some photos. But here is what I carry.
