Heat, over spinning, and high demands from upgrades such as fuel pumps, stereo, headlights etc. Which I would say typically about 70% of terminators are modded in some way shape or form. LolAt what point is one of these kits needed? Sorry to hijack
Eventually, some have gotten away with never changing an alternator. Mostly dependent on factors like how often you like smashing the skinny pedal lolUpper pulley ,port and boost a pump might send the original to the grave would you say?
Yeah, spinning up the blower with the same belt didn't help. Quick rpm jumps due to higher hp blower cars and belt slip on a blower pulley could add unusually high changes in load on the units to kick them into an early grave. That, and location of the alternator. Multiple issues with these guys. Been through a bunch of them in the past too.
