We put the Kirban Shifter in yesterday ( ordered from Amazon) and a friend of mine said that he eliminated the smaller rubber boot when he put one in his 03 GT. Is this the same case with the 03 cobra.
It seems to shift ok but he said that the little rubber boot will ball up in there and cause problems down the road. Is he just being anal or should I redo the install?
