Kentucky derby 2016 bets

Every year I make a thread on these big races. I normally have it down to one horse and pick the trainers and jockey that I think will win it.

This year in picking 2 horses to win. Nyquist or mor spirit both are going to be tough to beat. I'm 98% sure they will both be in the top 3. So im doing 30 win place show on both.

Mor spirit has post 17 and never in history has a horse won from post 17 on the Kentucky derby.

Nyquist
Is the fastest sprinter in the field but I dont know if he can hold out the whole way and sprint the last furlong without running out of fuel

I usually bet 1k or so but I think nyquist will win and is not worth the risk at 2 to 1 morning line odds
