With a Kenne Bell inlet restrictions are the limiting factor for boost on the 96-98 Cobra. Going from my stock throttle body to the Accufab 1,700 cfm throttle body made specifically for the kb and also adding a JLT cold air netted me an additional 1.25 lbs of boost. I believe the upgrade is well worth it.
My understading cobra stock throttle body (2x 57mm which same as terminator) flows 1000-1100 cfm which requires something like 15-20lbs boost.
