KB 40 amp BAP

Up for sale is a used Kenne Bell boost a pump. It has about 4k miles on it and is a 40 amp unit. What you see in the pic is how it was installed on the car. I don't have a turn dial for it or upgraded wiring. Looking to get $100 shipped

Is there a reason why the wires were cut so short? Or is that all that is needed? I thought the large red got constant batt supply voltage?

I'm not sure to be honest. This is just how it was wired in my car. The previous owner did this

Yeah that's what I understand it to be. It's just turned all the way up I believe
