I am running my 2.8H KB with a 3.1 BF pulley. I am seeing 22psi of boost. On my street tune, the timing is really low, around 14 degrees. I am also spraying 100% methanol to raise the octane (guess its cheaper than torco).
How much boost is too much? My race/torco tune uses 24 degrees of timing, but also uses 100% methanol.
I read that you should run more boost than timing, if given the choice. For the street tune, should I stay at 22 psi of boost and 14 degrees of timing, or drop the boost and run a bit more timing? The next size BF pulley is a 3.4". I don't know how much boost I will see with that pulley.
