K&N vs Airaid vs C&L vs Roush

Would the drop in K&N = the same performance increase as the no tune Airaid, Roush or the no tune C&L? Airiad and C&L both say an increase of 11rwhp. Roush 8rwhp. The K&N in the stock airbox should net the same shouldnt it?

the cone filters will flow more than the panel filter.

K&N Drop in worth 1-4 hp in most cars, some have no gain.
I suspect it would be worth 2-3 in the 5.0
I dyno tested and got 3.8 rwhp in my 335i from a K&N drop in, but that's in a force inducted car too.

its a AIR FILTER. why in the world would you spend $60+ on an AIR FILTER for performance. get a real intake and a tune.
