k&n is pissing me off filter keeps falling off.

anyone else have this problem damn thing has fallen off like 3 fuggin times now :mj: !! Piece a shit. So i finally put some double sided tape where it slides on and tightend the piss out of it. anyone else have this prob? I am checking this bastard every day now!

I have had mine on for 4 months with no problems. I guess I just made it really tight from the beginning.

Are you talking about the filter? If so mine fell off once and I just tightened up real good and it's been fine ever since.

Edit: haha I just re-read the thread title musta been :sleeping:

Are you using a screw driver or a nut driver to tighten it? If you are using a slotted screw driver you may not be able to get it tight enough. I think that it is either a 7 or 8 mm that fits.

i had that problem while trying to install mine,,once i cleaned the rubber where it mounts no more problems..i think the oil gets on the rubber and it slips ,,hope this helps..
