has anybody experimented with the replacement filter? horsepower gains,added sound, ect. what about the silencer assembly on the lower airbox? anyone remove this? i know a tune/cai will add a lot, but is there anything to be gained here? thanks

nobodys done these little mods? or are they a waste of time?
I think most just go with cold air and tune package.
I don't think it is a waste of time if you are on a tight budget but don't expect any major gains.
not really a budget thing, just dont know if i'm ready to change the tune in my car just yet. if it increaces the blower whine a little and picks up a few horses i might just do it but i know the electronics wont work with just a change to a cai. cant find anyone who has done this out of the gt500 owners i know.
