Are there any K members and arms that will accomodate a coil and shock arrangement like stock or do you have to use coilovers to go that route? My buddy got a K member with Coils buckets but used his stock arms. I like the set up but would like to replace my arms as well with out the expense of going coil over.

I am just starting to find information about the subject because I am interested in improving the handling. This is some of the information I found.

Its my understanding the MMR has a set of coilovers that will work with the stock shocks. There is also Maximum Motorsports. It is usually better if you call them, sometimes they have stuff that does not show up on the website.

I was looking at their k-member and A arms.

Hope this helps.

I really do not want to go coil over on this daily driver weekend racer. I hear alot of praise about them at first then it appears the thrill is gone and I hear complaints later of noise, ride, etc. PA racing mounts buckets on their K member to accomodate stock coils but I have yet to see some nice arms set up to accomodate the stock coil set up. Guess I am stuck using the large stock arms with the K member?

You can run with a Tubular K member, but you can't run Tubular control arms and run the stock Mcpherson Strut stock arrangement. My 98 had the full Griggs setup and c/o's and I can attest to the fact that though handling is great, noises and squeeks got the best of me and drove me to do springs only on this car. The weight savings on the new K member MAY be worth it, and the idea of having more room for a header install is cool, but if you aren't revising your whole setup up front, i'm not quite sure if I would bother.
