Well it was a fun car, but daily driving it 60 miles a day was taking a large toll on my wallet in fuel cost (at least $600 a month). So, I sold the car yesterday and purchased a CPO 11 BMW 335d. I've had the 335i, so this time I thought I'd try the oil burner. Its great on fuel mileage and makes tons of torque. I'm going to be getting the Burger Tuning JBD module which will bring it up to approx 300rwhp/420rwtq. Its not nearly as fast the GT500 was but it will offset the speed with fuel savings. Wound up getting $31K for the GT500 with 46,000 miles on it. I bought it 2 years ago with 7,000 miles for $33,500. I'm happy with the sale price, and hope the new owner will enjoy the car and keep it as clean as I did.

Those do get killer mileage, and as long as it's within the warranty period, I'd own and drive one. But once out of warranty, I wouldn't touch it. Taking it easy you should see over 35mpg on the highway, so big difference compared with the GT500.

you got a good amount for your GT500. you put a ton of miles on it and only spent about $2500 doing so. (not including sales tax and misc). nice to see

Filing up 3 times a week at about 50 dollars a tank is 150 dollars times 4 weeks a month is 600. Thats 60 miles in Atlanta city traffic. Not including doing extra driving around town and fun cruises to the mountains.

That's about what I do when I DD my '10 in Houston. Range is about 190-205 miles which lasts me 3 days. Oiy... expensive habit.

yeah i average about 200 miles per tank if i drive it "normal". NO hooliganing at all lol. the small gas tank makes it seem even worse since it runs out of gas so fast. its like i leave the gas station and im down to 50 miles left already lol. and i really like how it says i have 50 miles left and 2 miles later i have 40 miles left :dw:

i think its like $60 to fill it up but i dont even pay attention any more. i just know im getting raped so id rather now look my rapist in the eyes :whine:

they get way better than 35mpg on the highway. most get 45+. the 335d is the best kept secret bmw has.
