Just ordered PRP, need a little help

I just ordered the PRP and I have a couple questions.

I am starting with my current tune that I know works pretty well from VMP.

I am adding a set of 5.4 cobra R cams. I know I need to adjust air/fuel and timing will be dialed in on a dyno....

1. So what else do I need to look at for the cam tuning.

2. How do I lock the trans and converter so it stays in third (automatic)

Car is a mach1 with LUF3 strategy.

If I recall correctly you won't be able to adjust your current tune you'll have to build it from scratch unless you get you current tune unlocked from vmp

Where did you get the PRP from?

I highly recommend Don LaSota's book on tuning. It will answer everything and is a great reference if you want to get into tuning.

Justin sent me the tune files in MTF format. I'm guessing they are unlocked or it wouldn't make any sense to send them?

I had to adjust injector delay a little for my GT cams. It shouldn't take much since they're essentially stock cams.

Yeah if he sent you the .MTF file that is what you can open up in the Adv III software.
