Do you honestly need someone to explain to you why people don't see problems with some buldge on a vehicle DR'ing, as opposed to bulge on a street car? Let me help you out here. In DR'ing soft, flexible sidewalls are a good thing. Have you ever seen a picture or video of a drag slick on a powerful car flexing, and twisting on it launch? The ONLY other benefit would be ride comfort will probably improve a little. Saftely, handling, tire wear among other things are all better with a tire fitted on a wheel that's sized correctly for it. Would you rather road race with big, bulging tires, or ones sized correctly for the wheels you are using? Which would you rather have if you are do a sustained high speed run, or in a situation where your car gets caught in a slide?
