Just bought my third 98 csvt

1998 csvt Tred blue leather 177k miles
any idea how to tell if it is factory water pump?
contour .org is still dead .There is alot of information i would like to get off that website grrrr

pull it off and look at the impeller. Most likely its not. The early cars had issues and usually were replaced with a 2-3 years IIRC.

around it wouldnt somebody just use a gasket?
the antifreeze does look nice and green and fresh though....
