Because it was easier for him to do what he did at the time.(deleting it) I understand your frustration man, but also understand his.

By leaving the thread there and not deleting, he still leaves the original posts there until the thread is cleaned up. I'm not saying he's ON your side, but he is not on their side either. He is just trying to do his job the most efficient way possible; sometimes that involves making threads disappear for a little bit while they're cleaned up.

Sometimes it takes time to make sure the right decision is made.
Sometimes it is best to move and have the staff discuss it.
Sometimes I want the owner to see it and make a decision.
Especially when it is a case that involves not 1 but 2 vendors.

In this case we are talking about 19 post which I just read again.
I will probably read them again later and then again.
I want to make sure I comprehend what was said before doing anything.

We try to make the right decisions in most cases and not just fly off the cuff.
If I determine that some comments were harsh or looked like bashing then it leaves until it is determined for sure the context, intent, etc.....

Sometimes it takes minutes, sometimes hours and even days.
This was in another mods section who is not online right now.
He was involved from the begining.
I want him to also take a look.

People want what they want when they want it.
I should not even need to explain myself.

I do want you people to read that link.
Taking cheap shots at the site and staff is not the way to handle it either.

FWIW - like most sites, this one has it's unique set of rules, policies and enforcement styles. The choices the staff makes are theirs to make. If you find the methods different in how you would chose to deal with them, find a site more suited to your preferences, there are many choices out there.

No reason to attack the staff for doing what they ate asked to.

Just my $.02, worth what you pay for it.

Hell, just take a look at the S197 section of this forum to see how much activity this place gets. Then look at the amount of actual tech in the forums that do get some activity, lol.
