I ran across a Motor Trend from a couple of years back with two experimental Cobras.
One was a Cobra Jet S/C with a 5.4 (360/440) - Ran 13.4 sec. 109.5mph. Lateral Accel 0.80g's. <- crude suspension
The other was a NA DOHC with 4.6 380 Horses/ 350 Torque - ran 13.0/106.4. Lateral accel. 0.93g's.
I gave my MT of the 2003 to my neighbor but I am sure the 2003 outperforms the concepts overall. 12.8 @ 111?
The Cobra perfoms superbly out of the box but absolutely screams with a few inexpensive mods.
I love the vette also but they are absolute magnets for law enforcement. Driving 74 in a 70 etc. Having a $50k automobile also made me paranoid to drive it anywhere.
Great overall choice in an automobile.
