Was looking around to see if anyone was using their JLT oil seperators with a Paxton or Vortech set up. I searched but didnt come up with much info.

If you can add pics and any other information it would help big time!
Thanks

it can be done. with the vortech / paxton kit, you are sent the parts for rebuilding the breather line, which includes a 1 way valve. you have to basically build your own line that works with the oil separator that includes this valve so you don't pressurize your crank case when you get into boost.

Great info, that was my main concern about using it the way I had it N/A.

I still would like some pics of the set if you or anyone else has any.

This is the picture that Jay from JLT sent me. I didn't install my seperator yet. I will be installing it this weekend.

Had one and it does not stop all oil vapors or mist.. Took it off for a vented catch can and plugged the manifold , now there will be no oil getting into the intake or the blower!

I thought about running the oil seperators, but opted for the breathers so I didnt have to worry about the check valve going bad.

Thanks guys, that racing breather set up is nice but $500 is a bit steep.
The valve cover breathers would be a nice alternative to the cans aswell.
But with my luck I will be the one with an engine bay full oil!

The cheap how to is nice write up but the pics are gone and no part numbers to the breathers.

Might just get rid ofthe JLTs and get the breather kit from JPC.
