JLT CAI - filter pushing against splashguard

Just switched over from my JLT RAI to CAI and when I put it all together up inside the fenderwell, the filter ended up against the splashguard pushing/denting it roughly 3/4" back towards the tire once everything was back together. Has anyone else had this problem? Is the pipe just aligned wrong?

Loosen the clamps on the reducer and push it forward and re tighten. You don't need much and this should do it.

Also rotating the pipe one way or the other can make a differance too.
