JLT 148mm CAI testing

I've been playing with a 148mm JLT on my VMP Gen 2 blower... I made a little video. I've always heard rumors about drivability issues, but with a few tweaks from Lidio at Alternative Auto she purrs like a kitten... 840+ whp with a big mono blade TB & big ID1300's.[video=youtube;Hq3fJIPQRwo]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hq3fJIPQRwo&sns=em[/video]

When is the real test coming, the track? A bigger inlet tube should make more power unless there is no restriction now

Track testing will be next... It made a little more power then the 123 JLT (which actually performs very well), & carried the power to 7900 rpm with the stock cams & un ported heads!

Never hurts to open the inlet up on the TVS cars. I think the key, like you said is the tuning and getting the MAF curve dialed in. Nice post

Lidio's shop is in the October issue of Car Craft. The pics are to the left of the dyno with his cars and some others. They sure printed the color of his yellow car off
