JLP CAI

How difficult is it to install the JLP CAI kit? Is there a difference between the forced air kit and the ram air kit? Why on the JLP website does it say that the forced air CAI kit is for off-road use only? Sorry if the questions are stupid but I need to buy a CAI and still trying to decide which one to get. Doesn't seem to be much support for L's out here in San Diego. You guys are my only hope

JLP forced air intake (with the scoop under the bumper) is pretty easy to install. It took me and two other guys like 30 minutes at most to get this thing in. The only reason the other guys were there is b/c they love my truck!!! haha. It says its for off-road use only, b/c technically you shouldnt pass visual smog with it on your truck. But there are no stickers on the actual unit, and most smog places will be like "what the hell is that?" and will pass you no prob. Just keep the stock one just in case like me!!!
