Jay Leno's Ford GT

This is from IMSA at Watkins Glen last week. I didn't realize at the time that this was a competition series. The single stripe and arapokvic(sp?) exhaust tips did catch my eye though.

I would never go with that color combo as others have said. I wouldn't go black on that car at all in fact, I think it takes away from her beauty.

I think the car looks great in that color combo. Black is one of the best colors when clean and that orange really sets it off.

Comp is an option check box, I dont believe limited in any way. I anticipate not a high take rate with out AC (Ford will not allow it to be added back).

Correct, but I believe those allocations were taken into the original 750.

The black does look good on these cars but you need to see it in person. Cameras don't do it justice.

When I went to the RS racing school, they had a press event and I think there were 6-7 different cars out there. Each one is beautiful and carries an enormous presence. The white was my favorite.

Neat to hear the daily ins and outs of the car.

Sure its a race car, we've heard all about its motor and chasis...but who knew there was AM radio, a tach in the wheel, and a trunk compartment for someones panties other than your wifes (which I genuinely laughed at his warning)

He purchased two 2017 Ford GTs. I'm not for sure the other color combo.

Do you have a source? Are you sure it didn't mean he has a 05/06 and a 17? Just seems hard to believe that Ford would turn down so many people to get one, yet let Jay have two. And yes, I realize his status symbol and disposable income.

I think Ford does that on purpose, you get first pick of the same number car from before.

I can't actually remember where I read that and if it was for the FGT or something different.
