Companies don't have the courage to stand up to the mob. Capitalism has nothing to do with it, companies are allowing mobs to bully them. Dick's is another example. Companies falling for this mob mentality only reinforces the far left.

There is a big difference between, voluntarily doing what is in your best interest and being coerced or forced to do something, that is actually against the will of the majority of your customers/clients. If I put a gun to your head or threaten your family, you're gonna do what I ask you to do. That's how the mob spread across America. Not much of a choice when there is a gun to your head. Courage is lacking in this country.

im trying to be an adult about this. god knows i could be a jerk and slam you if i wanted to. you're the last person on this site that should mention the word helent.

The point i'm making is that corporations have one goal: profits. they weigh and balance the risk of doing, or not doing something based on its perceived affect to its bottom line. they need shareholders for capital and that is why they make these decisions.

do I agree with it? no. they probably dont, but their analysis came back and said the loss from doing it is less then the loss from not doing it, all in an effort to appease their shareholders.
