If anyone can help I would apreciate it.I ordered this unit from Mr.Ed Woods back in 2002.It was ordered and Mr Ed did a drop off shipment to my my local Ford dealer at Hub City Ford.I picked it up there and Mr.Ed made a comit to me that he'd never see it being Saleen shiped it to me.Ford sent it driectly from Dearbone Mich.,To Ievine,Cal., to Saleen manfauturing in Irvine,Cal. Then Shawn kept me informed about my Cobra all that it went through the day it was being loaded up on transport then before it was loaded Mr Steve autographed it for me in three places as I requested,Under the hood,inside glove box and on side door panel on driver side.I was very apreciate.I even sent Steve Saleen some zydeco music from local artist from our area.He was very aprective.Just a little history of it.Thanks,Joe/Randy Fontenot,337-591-1023/Cell

the one in maine is it a red fire coupe #97.If so this is the one I'm looking for.

There's an 01 Saleen Cobra vert for sale locally on CL. 6k miles, but he wants nearly $40k.
Try the Saleen Cobra Owners group on Facebook. I'm sure there is a lot more knowledge on there than what your going to find in the for sale section here when it comes to tracking down a specific Saleen Cobra.

Who would pay $125k for a Saleen s281? Good lord.
It is a 1 of 2 in the world car......a collector with stupid money will likely pay it or close to it.
Not sure but with only 2 posts how are you gonna see any history on the cars, benefits or power?
If someone has a pinto that they had when they were younger or something they collected maybe someone would pay top dollar.
How do people speed 5k on a pistol or 10k on a watch that has less metal than a pulley?

I mean I get it. Same deal with imports (Supra, R33/34, etc.) which are fetching astronomical figures. I'd take a 03/04 over a saleen any day of the week.
