my car has an O/R H pipe, JLT RAI, diablosport tuner and 4.10s. someone told me that the unburnt fuel im smelling is from not having cats( which doesnt make sense, all my 5.0s didnt have cats and i never smelled any fuel), and i been noticing the tips of the exhaust keep turning black. so i took a little fuel out with the predator, and it runs ok but the tips still turn black

It happens to me as well. Less so since I've had a dyno tune but I still need to get out there with the Nev-R-Dull now and again.

Sounds like it is still a bit rich. What is your AF ratio? Do you have a wideband on it?

But, your exhaust will still be a bit "dirtier" with no cats.

I have a white car, and the area right above the tips turns a light brown color. My car is untuned though.
