Is this the wrong sixe brake pad?( rear breaks)

Wrong size

I had my brakes done last week and noticed today after it rained that there is a gap (rusted part) on the rotor that I never noticed before. I think they put the wrong size pads on or am I crazy.

I'm new to the GT500 world, but from nearly 20 yrs of fixing my own crap.... looks fine to me. It's not uncommon for the pad to stop a little short on the inside, IMHO.

^1 I agree. I doubt they'd find a pad that fit the bracket but was the wrong size.

Common, the pads will not run to the full inner or outer diameter of the rotor. Evene factory doesn't.

Thanks guys. What got me was the rusted part of the rotor near the base, that was definitely not like that before I had my breaks done. That why I thought there was a smaller pad on.

I guess they just over turned the rotors. Now very time I look at my wheels I will focus on that rusty area
