Not Many.

Not many were sold because they really didn't offer much besides the name.
Basically stock with junky kit added for a high price tag.

Sure, ASC McLarens are pretty rare. I dunno exactly how many were made, or for how many years, but I've only seen a handful between real life and internet findings. If it's in as good shape as it's showing there, I think it just may be worth the price they have up for Buy It Now. It's certainly clean and well kept. Original top, too, with piping and all. For some reason I couldn't see myself owning one.

It's one of 1015 1988s. It's actually the least rare production year, according to http://www.ascmclaren.com/production.htm.

It's one of 68 Sterling Silver cars with Grey interior and a Black top.

The site has all the info you could want.
