My brother is looking at getting a SVT Focus. He was originally looking at a used 02 that the dealer wanted 13075 for. 12000 miles, and had the winter package and sound system. I told him to pass on it. I then learned about the rebates on the new ones. With my xplan. He can get a silver 04 with all 4 options for 17750 out the door. Is that pretty good?

Out the door thats a hell of a good price. Last december I got my euro for 18300, sticker was 22500. Wish I would have had an x-plan.

I got my 04 Euro ZX5 SVTF for $20k out the door using X-plan and $3400 in rebates they tacked on about $1k to pay off my old car, still a hell of a deal IMO, since their sticker price was just over $25k

I got a new, leftover 03, with all four options for 15.9k out the door, a few months back. Not that bad of a deal, at all. 4k off, and at invoice. For a used one, that's not too good of a deal.

I paid $15,545. for new '03 3d non-Euro in December '03. All options-retail $21,245. Another local dealer sold a new loaded Euro for $15,995. Low ball them. They'll take it.

Wow some dealers are retarded. Well we got them to take $1000 for a 92 Cougar which is on its last leg. So he is now looking at 16,5 out the door. However, he checked the insurance yesterday, and they want 1400 every 6 months for full coverage with a 500 deductible. He's only 21. No tickets. The insurance agent said basically if he gets in an accident he is screwed because its a small car.:nonono: I thought what BS.

My 03 SVTF cost me 12,000 out the door with only 2,995 miles on it...best thing....the car was owned by the dealership so no **** head was hurting the car by driving it like an idiot....add $1,500 for a trade in to 12,000 and you get the 13,500 price i was suppoed to pay...had a 92 chrysler that was falling apart and they were gonna give me 500 i talked them into 1000 and then told them no way in hell i was gonna pay 500 in dealers fees. I put a cheeck on the table for 12,000 and told them take it or i walk...duuh duh duhh Ma ROONEEE....they took it...

Best deal ever

2,995 miles $12,000

First off - ReallyRedCobra - Sorry to HiJack your thread.:) I'll keep it short and simple.

I'd like to find a used '02 SVTF as well (My old '78 Granada is on it's last legs). Was hoping for a better price than this for an almost 3yr. old car though. Especially considering what new ones seems to sell for!

I found a red one, very comparable in miles to this one above, for $13,9xx. Seems kinda high to me - what do you guys think a car like this is worth?

TIA

That seem too much for an 02 with low 20,XXX miles on it. . . .

I wouldn't pay more than 11,900 for it.

I would look for a good used 03, they have the 5 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty with them, where the 2002 year does not.

Just my 2 cents.

We paid 16600 for a new 04 Sonic Blue focus this past Monday. Out the door price was 17400 I think. Power sunroof, HID lights, and the Audiophile systems are the options on ours.

That was x-plan price and 3000 rebate

Turns out the Dealer sold that one. No idea what it sold for though?

The '03 warranty sounds good, but 3 weeks ago I just picked up my SRT-10, so not looking to spend too much here.

I have a couple of Dealer's looking for one now, so hopefully they'll come up with something.

Thanks
