Is the factory digital temp gauge in the odometer accurate?

The digital readout appears to be very precise, accuracy I'm not sure of though.

Yea, the digital readout is good.. you just need to convert it into degrees from celsius.. #*9/5+35

pull it from the diag screen where the odo is..

i just hold down the trip button for 5 seconds, turn the key to acc, continue to hold down and turn the car on while continuing to hold the trip down.. The screen will say test and then you can cycle through the different options until you get to engine cooling temp.

I used to do this on my 99 GT also.
