my friend has a 95 gt withFR500 in black with the polish lip 17x9 24mm up front and 17x10.5 28mm outback

i want to run his rim's on my 06 gt..but they kinda stick out about 1 to 1 1/2 inches...:dw:

im getting them for cheap..so what do you guys think i should buy them orwait and save more cash to buy the same rims made for my year car? ill post pics in a bit

I don't know man, the wheels sticking out takes away from the appearance of the wheels.

Don't do it, FR500's look really good on the 99-04's not so much on ours. Besides they look really small get at least some 18"s or something. IMO 20"S are the prefrect fit

Just an FYI going from 17's to 20" wheels will make you lose ~10rwhp due to the added weight/size.

get 20s they are perfect and get it lowered also on some eibach prokit and tokico d-specs adujsutable shocks and struts.

Itd be safe driving with them on but IMO they dont look good sticking past the well. Plus itll be kickin up rocks on ur nice paint. 18-20 inch would look good with chrome deep dish in back

thanks for the great info guys...i wont be buying this wheels they are for sale if any other 95-04 stang wants them..500 bucks just for the wheels only...

if i get 20's it will be for shows only..for racing i want to stick with 17's or maybe 18's..:shrug:

i got it from the ford dealer 82 bucks no taxz...i can help you install yours for free all you have to do is drive 60miles to my casa...lol...
