Is it possible to request your build date to be later?

I ordered a 2017 two weeks ago and they told me to expect delivery about January. Is there a way or someone to call and request it to be built as late as possible?? Thanks in advance

Well I'm not sure they are familiar with the procedure. So what exactly should I recommend they do?
