Here's the deal.

the parkinglot is real real full and I cant find a parking spot but there are like 3 or 4 of these little grassy divider things. If I was to park there would I be given a ticket?? :shrug:

oh yeah, Im on a military base but the same rules should apply

Military bases, the same rules dont apply because in the civilian world the parking lot could be private property.

Most private property lots they want business so they dont care where you park and the police usually dont patrol them.

Contact the Garrison SGM or the MP traffic officer/NCO. While it would make sense that civilian rules apply, Army installations often vary from post to post. Sometimes more restrictive and sometimes less. Pleading ignorance only proves you were ignorant of the rules.
