Is it a cobra or a Terminator?

The name "Terminator" was given to the 03/04 Cobra project to keep it mostly secretive. SVT/Ford didnt want people to know about the up-and-coming first factory supercharged mustang, thusly they gave it the nickname to throw anyone off. Most of their vendors thought Ford was working on a new car at the time.

A good read to get all the info is "Iron Fist, Lead Foot". Covers the 03/04 Cobra project from conception to reality, I'm constantly reading it to this day, prolly read through it 10 times now and it still doesnt get old.

03s had them as an option

chrome wheels were never standard either years.. they were an option in 03 and 04.. what throws people off I believe, is chrome wasn't an option on early 03's, they werent available until the later 03's

Sonic Blue 03's are faster

i know this is a stupid question. Im new to the 2000+ edition of the mustangs. Ive done some reading and research. But how can you tell the difference with an 03 cobra and an 03 cobra terminator? Or 04? And is there a big difference between the both?

Key Color.

All 03-04 Cobra are called terminators.
The difference between a 03&04 Cobra maybe a certain color or interior.
Also notice between black and stainless steel door lockson driver door.

I have also noticed the 03's have the net mesh on the roof for paperwork and etc and that the 04's dont have them! basically a perfect way to tell!!
