Just wondering....On my race tune I ran 126.3mph. Et was bad because I was on a rural street....but the mph sounds VERY high.

the reading was .00

I have a Steg stage 4, 2.8 upper, 2# lower, exhaust, cai, blah blah.....making around 515-520 rwhp. I was thinking more around 122-123 mph because I ran 119 with 480 rwhp.

The E.T is usaually within a tenth or two. The MPH always reads a few miles high compared to the track.

No it's not! Big piece of shit! I know a guy with a subaru wrx ( bone stock ) that has a 0-60 mph time under 3 second and he drive like my mother.

If you use it properly and are on a DEAD flat road, it is remarkably accurate down to 11 seconds. Beyond that, the violent launch confused it and usually it won't even start timing.

G-tech has never been accurate. a regular upper only cobra with 4 heavy people in car was cutting low 4 sec 0-60 on the streets on street tires. running deep 11s with over 121+mph when the speedo is at 110ish MPH. drive was shifting slow and leaving the line very easy and slow as well. that thing is weird.

The G-Tech is designed to give you your 'actual' speed at the end of the 1/4 mile. Remember your 'trap' speed at the track is an average of your speed over the last 66 feet of the 1/4 mile.

I used it on a 12 second Fox body Mustang while I was at the drag strip. That night I ran 5 times and the ET was within .05 of my time ticket. The MPH was about 3.5 to 4.5 MPH higher than my time ticket.

On the street you need to be on a really flat road without alot of trees and things around to get an accurate reading.
