DING DING DING!!! We have a winner!! My 2009 GT500 also failed from dig racing. The low end torque + manual transmission made 1st and 2nd gear useless. You simply can't put a lot of power down on the street with a manual transmission. Anyone who has built a PD blower car 650+ rwhp, or 750+ turbo car, will tell you that. Even on a prepped track, unless the prep is perfect and tire/suspension dial in, you are not dig racing with the manual. Not consistently, and results are constantly varying.
