The IRS I have out of a 99 had the same size pinion flange as the stock 8.8 that came out of the car.

Is the rear driveshaft yoke on a 99 cobra the same as an 03/04?

Doing t56 install with an 99 irs and an 03 driveshaft

So what you need to do is change the pinion flange on the 99 irs to one out of an 03/04.

OR, swap the flange on the driveshaft and use a hybrid U-joint.

I would like to swap the yoke out to the one off my 96 cobra driveshaft (T45) since it bolted up fine before the T56 install. Which u joint would I need?

It's been 10 years since I did the swap, but I think you need a 1330-1350 u joint. If that's the case, the Spicer part number is 5-648X. You can cross reference that number to your preferred brand.
