irs to straight axel trade questions?

ok i finnaly found a trade for my irs... the guy has a 99 gt and i have a 99 cobra is it a straight un bolt and bolt up or are there other things involved in the swap...lmk thanks for the adavice...

Being a 99 its going to be a simple swap. If your running the cobra brakes though your going to need the caliper plates for a cobra. Your going to need to take his ABS senors either way. Other then that its a direct swap. Dont listen to these guys that say they arent, I just did one last night.

what's that all about. if you don't feel like swapping calipers and bleeding brakes, the stock 99/01 lines will clear fine. just bend them about 1/4" towards the outside. this way they will clear the quad shock mount on the axle tube.
