Has anybody broken the u-joint on the rear end nearest the wheel? I'm not really sure what this part is called? I have a 2001 Cobra. Thanks

AS STATED BEFORE I BROKE THE DRIVER SIDE ONE. THE DEALER IS REPLACEING THE WHOLE REAR END, SOUNDS LIKE FORD HAS A PROBLEM IN THIS AREA.

Hey bro, what indication did U have that U broke the CV joint in the rear? (just in case I break mine, I'll know)

THE CAR WILL NOT MOVE. THE SHAFT GOES AROUND AND MAKES A HORRIBLE NOISE. THE RUBBER BOOT WILL ALSO BE SHREADED AND GREASE ALL OVER THE INSIDE OF YOUR WHEEL. ITS NOT GOOD.
