Ok guys, i'm getting ready to order an IRS grip package from Maxium Motorsport as my diff and a-arm bushings are shot. Would i be better off to spend the extra money to get the package with the solid diff mount or is the package below it with the urethane bushing replacements for the diff ok:shrug: thanks -aaron

Vroom, I like your username. That's my callsign.

A FTBR user here. Cheaper price and better quality. I've also compared both brands and used both companies products.

I went FTBR on mine; it was a great kit, and made a night and day difference on the suspension. Get the tools, $60 was a bargain for what they do for you.

FTBR here. Night and day difference. My installer has also had both MM and FTBR in his car and said the FTBR was a much better parts and did a lot better job of eliminating the hop. Not to mention Bruce and steve are always here on the forums contributing and will answer anything you ask them any time

Not to jack this thread but are any of you guys experiencing a lot more noise in the cabin with the complete FTBR kit, after installed? Sounds like gear noise, and gets louder the faster i go, even on or off the acceleration and even when i put in neutral when going fast. I remember Bruce saying that the 3.73 are louder after installed with the kit but dang man i still have the 3.55 and it get pretty annoying when im cruising with the GF, but when im alone i just turn up the beats and the noise goes away, lol.

Go FTBR and dont look back. The design is much more thought out then the MM pieces. It pains me to type that but honestly Bruce did a hell of a job. If you actually compare the MM bushings to the FTBR bushings you will see that the MM pieces simply aren't in the same ball park.

Besides the first time your MM bushings start squeeking you will wish you had gone FTBR with their grease fittings.

Re-check your pinion angle. I had a similar issue and my pinion angle was off a little. After that I added a piece of dynamatt around the diff area. Now I only notice it when I lug the engine in a low RPM and high gear.

I didnt go with the Diff lowering mount so bruce told me to just put all the stacking washers under the diff to raise it as high as possible and that would be improved but not optimized so i dont think the pinion is that much off. Anyways its a gear noise and not a driveline angle noise. Its more annoying on the FWY then on the streets but it dose make noise on the streets on and off the accelerator even with the stock 3.55 gears.
