IRS Diff cover leaking....

Simple question.. How difficult is it to replace the gasket on our diffs? I'm not ready to yank the IRS out to add gears, bushings, and braces just yet.

you have to drop the diff assembly. mines been leaking for a bit, but i just monitor the level cause i haven't had the extra time to drop the it yet. it's not too bad off a job.

mine leaks as well but it just seeps a little i never see any leaking on the ground. I think for now i can live with it.

Mine is pretty in the same situation as yours. I'm just trying to get everything right on the car as I will be putting a bunch of mileage on her soon. The more leaks that I seal up, the better I will feel. The rear is pretty much due for an oil change anyways.
