Nope, completely ridiculous. When I had it I felt almost overwhelmed to read it and pass it on as soon as possible. I guess not everyone has the same sense of loyalty and responsibility.
I felt honored to be a part of the book's travels. I would hope everyone would feel the same.
I hope nothing has happened to the last member to have the book. If all is well I hope that member has the integrity to send the book to the next person in line.
It may be time to do a bit of investigating.
