Everything in this post is tenative as im am talking with the owner.
I just want to gauge intrest since there is not very many events that have a little something for everyone all in one place.
Would there be intrest in a unique local venue with a mixed car show/auto cross possibly with a place to drag race(Example old Airport)
Possibly in the future there would be a location for rally cross but we need to get this event off the ground and show the owner there would be enough intrest.
The tenative location that would be roughly 1 hour from Richmond,Newport News,Fredricksburg and about 30 mins from Williamsburg)
This would be open to all vehicles as a place for local car enthusiast to meet show off there cars and race alittle.
At first it most likely would not be a sanction event for points just for fun.
This type of venue has been very successful all over the country at other airports.
Example Cumberland Airport Autocross in Maryland
But there is nothing close for us locally.
So post your thoughts,comments and suggestions below as i said before this is still in the early planning stages as i am in talks with a place that has more than enough space to hold such a event.
