Older gentleman that owns it, came out of the Vietnam war and bought a 1969 Shelby GT500 brand new with the money he saved while he was away at war fighting for our country. It was red with gold stripes. When the 13 came out he ordered this as stripe delete, because he could not get the gold stripes. He then had the gold stripes made for it to match his 69 that he still owns today all original and in mint condition. By the way his 13 has less than 300 miles on it.

Thank him for his service and see if you can post a pic of his 69.

Since it matches an original I like it. The angle in the pics makes it the stripes look yellow so I personally would like to see more pics. Also, it's a glass roof car!

.
I like a story that starts out, " older gentleman "......................prepares you for what's to follow.
..............................As long as he likes it !!
If you hadn't stated gold stripes, I would have thought yellow also.
