I want to make this post to hopefully help others out with the same issue. I just bought my 14 GT500 Monday and on the way home the intercooler pump stopped working. I spent quite some time trying to diagnose the issue. I have this featured in my video below. I actually found someone with the same issue on a different forum.

I originally thought the intercooler pump failed but that turns out not to be the case. I ended up finding that the plug on the driver side under the intake that exits off the main harness loom melted. This plug contains 6 wires: 2 going to the intercooler pump (postive and negative) and 4 going to MAF. This section had to be completely repaired because it was melted so bad.

This is documented in the 13-14 GT500 forum, so it's happened to others. Did you repair it or did the dealership? Did you/they go with heavier gauge wiring?

Curious, saw the reservoir looked empty in your video of picking car up from dealer. Had the cooler water already boiled out from the previous owner?

I believe the pump was working at the time. Probably inconsistent. It was only slightly lower than the fill mark

I just repaired the factory wiring to get it going and make sure there were no other issues.

Interesting! Factory harness get pinched or the gauge wire too small for the current?

I’m guessing a combination. Interesting is that the factory wiring only has the pump running 50% power from the factory.
My car with the ice tank and second stock pump in rear wired 100% moves coolant big time.

Seems the guys that have posted this problem in past had a fault at the harness connector. Seems to be heat related, so I'm thinking it's wiring that is too small or a bad ground location that won't stand the test of time.
