The intercooler flow was really weak we put a new Bosch pump on it burped it and the flow was really strong. On the dyno the pump was really weak again. We burped it again it flowed better but after a few pulls it went back to flowing slow. We bought another new pump and changed it out. Burped it the flow was great like a jacuzzi. Went out and did some pulls and the pump goes right back to flowing really slow.
Mods are Whipple 2.9 all the supporting mods, afco dual pass H/E and pfab tank. We burped it by using the slow fill and jumping the pump and also with a hose with a fitting hooked up to the top hose. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Could it be a intercooler problem?

sounds like you have a leak somewhere. it may not be leaking out but just enough to suck air in somewhere.

Is there alot of pressure under the cap? Did you change or kink one of the intercooler tube orings when installing? Higher boost/big boost will expose weak rubber orings quick which enables boost to past from the intake manifold into the intercooler fluid system possibly introducing air.

Thanks guys. My bet is gonna be on those o-rings. We did not change them out since they looked good but, that makes perfect sense with the higher boost.
