intercooler(fitting bosses machined wrong?) question

ok, I was cleaning my intercooler getting ready for the whipple swap and i noticed this. I am not sure if this is normal but it dont look right so it raised questions.

as you can see the hole is not bored out all of the way only half way. so is this normal if not what can i do

both of mine are completely open

Hmm.. Ive seen one that is completely open but the one I have is like yours. Ill have to look further into this. If not then a machine shop can make short work of it.

I have my ic out for whipple swap. I checked and my ic is like yours halfway on one.

Mine is opened up halfway also.
