I'm thinking of mounting my front license plate to the lower piece of angled metal at the bottom front of the heat exchanger. It will be close to the heat exchanger. I'm wondering how much this will cut down on airflow and efficiency of the h/e. Is this advisable or will it be detrimental to the car and h/e over time? It is not a daily driver. Please let me know what you think.

wouldnt be a great idea since our cars need all the cooling they can get. unless you would take it off everytime you race it would not be good for the car.

or you could mount it farther forward but on hinges like a 427 cobra where as soon as you get moving the airflow moves it out of the way.

a better idea is getting the print/sign shop to make you a vinyl static cling sticker thats an image of your license plate and just put it on the front bumper when you fear the man.

once my hair turned grey i stopped getting hassled for such nonsense. but then, its window tint that gets the cops panties in a knot here.
